Tradeshows and Exhibits

Tradeshows and exhibits are an excellent way to meet a crowd of people, perhaps more than your current customer base, and turn them into clients. Most of the time, tradeshows and exhibits are geared toward a specific industry, which will put you in front of consumers that have a desire to purchase your type of product and/or service. Remember however, that this is the customer’s first impression of you and they will likely make an assumption about your business that day that can affect the entire years worth of business. Consider that if 100 people see your booth and each tell one person that your company is disorganized what that could do to your business.

So, what are the different ways to make sure that you impress the potential clients at the tradeshows or exhibits? First, you should have your area neat, tidy and organized. You should be staged to answer questions quickly and grab literature on the go since it is likely that the exhibit will draw a mass crowd looking for answers now. The stand should not be confusing to the attendee’s. Lastly, you will want to get a bit creative in your area to help develop your brand and to stand out among the competition.

Many companies use tradeshows and exhibits to unleash the newest product line that they carry. For this, branding is a must and every stand, shelf, table, and banner should scream the product name and logo. Literature stands and lighting should be considered as well. Getting customized tradeshow equipment is fairly inexpensive and convenient since most are now modular and can be assembled and disassembled in a relatively short amount of time.

If you have an awesome presence that attracts others to your area, you can capitalize on the media exposure bought and paid for by the event itself. Always be on your toes and look your best in public, especially at these types of events.
